This here is Virgil. No, no. Not the one who writes the blog. Though this Virgil did live with him for a while, at least until it was discovered he was a rooster, not a hen. Though small in stature, Virgil is big on attitude. This is typical behavior for Bantam chickens, but Virgil is unusually good at making us laugh.
This boy's no spring chicken, but he has a lot of life left in him. He's a real character, and he would love to have a flock of girls all for himself. Virgil is sure to keep a family entertained in addition to keeping his hens happy.
This trio would love a pond to call their own. The gander and his two girls will lay eggs, but they're not so good at sitting on them.
